Individual coin images taken prior to submission. Oddly enough for a date long considered a Key, not a lot at CAC with a 'bean'. 179 PCGS, 85 NGC versus only 12 stickered at CAC (May, 2025). None in the new CACG holder; per their policy this is guaranteed to cross at the same grade if submitted. Original and well struck, with a considerable amount of luster shows on the Reverse, where the design protected it more - it is more muted on the Obverse due to the color/toning. This is also a possible 14/3-D Overdate. While certainly a controversial variety, this coin appears to clearly have a triangle-shaped blob behind the '4', and a stronger than usual 'bar' shape to the left of the digit. My images are not the best necessarily however I could not get the camera to focus sharply enough on this very small area. 'Mox Nix' - priced as a nice example of this popular Key Date. You can decide about the rest for yourself.
