Showing the common mushy strike known for this date, likely caused (according to David Lange) by improper setting of die spacing. It is my opinion that this coin has not circulated, however my experience shows that such coins are usually certified by the services as AU/Unc (AU-58), so sold on that basis at what such a coin would command in a PCGS or NGC holder. It is entirely possible that this might come back as a low end Unc (MS-61/62), but I will leave that choice to the new owner as it is not worth my time and two+ months to find out. 0131-04
