A much tougher date, rated R-4 in Lawrence’s book on the series; I rarely see these above a Good. As noted in Lawrence, the strike on this issue is typically shallow, and this coin displays this on Liberty’s forelock, which is a bit flat below LIBERTY. This example is just a little bit scruffy, but still acceptable.
