Very Fine or a bit better; based upon observed third party graded coins, this appears to match many that were graded as VF-25. This date has odd striking characteristics, with Obverse & Reverse not necessarily matching, so certified grading is commonly 'Net' based upon surfaces. In this case, a very old, very light cleaning and a slight rim bruise right below the '1' of the date means I don't feel the need to send it in as I believe it would fit better into an album page. Out of an old collection where I know it has lived for 30 years or more. The Reverse shows classic 'Whitman folder' reddish-gray toning, which would suggest that this was cleaned in the 1960's. Certainly serviceable and attractive overall compared to most I see that have been more serially abused. Guaranteed genuine backed by our firms 80+ years in the business, plus all the industry 'garden salad' (PCGS, CAC, NGC, ANACS, ANA, etc., etc.). 1025-05
