Smooth evenly colored ocher-brown surfaces, typical of a coin likely put aside by a member of the general public shortly after release due to the “gee whiz” factor of the new design. The PCGS images made this coin look too dark, so I have included some of my own. Not all that common CAC, as I have noted that they tend to NOT like coins at the MS-62 grade, and especially Lincoln Cents that are Brown. A coin has to have some 'pizzaz' to get the bean. 459 at PCGS, 386 at NGC, versus only 57 at CAC when originally listed. None currently in their own new holder (Dec. 2023); per CAC’s grading policy, guaranteed to cross to their own new holder should you wish to submit it.
