A solid example of this scarce Semi Key date.  A very nice original AU coin, no significant marks, and no spots or stains.  This was also struck from one of the most severely cracked Reverse dies I have seen for the series.  This die could be said to be near terminal, with a heavy crack completely through the left side of the wreath from 6:30 to 11:30, with a smaller crack connecting to the rim at 9:00.  While extremely obvious, somewhat oddly enough this seems to have escaped notice as it is not listed on Dave Poliquin's die variety site, as far as I could tell.  Possibly this die cracked rather suddenly and was immediately pulled from service and condemned (I doubt it could be reground), leaving few examples struck.  Worth a decent premium I think as a nice coin, as much as for the possible interest of the die crack.
