Early die state apparently struck soon after switching over to the new Reverse die used for this die pairing as it lacks the die cracks noted in Wiley, and the small die chip within the shield is still sharp. Details in the AU-55 range with noticeable luster remaining around the Obverse rim, considerably more visible on the Reverse. Appears more or less original - with Seated Halves is it often hard to be 100% sure. Some minor rim issues, however nothing too serious and they should not show much once placed into an album page. Certainly still an attractive coin. 0830-06
