Only 12;000 circulation strike half dollars were produced in 1890; all of which are attributed to the Philadelphia Mint. Along with the other low mintage half dollars produced beginning in 1879; the 1890 is among the more eagerly sought issues in the Liberty Seated series. The present example rates amongst the finest certified and its eye appeal simply cannot be beat. Both sides display a glorious combination of peach; lilac; sky blue and pale jade hues. CAC certified.
