B-2. R.2. B-2 shows a large O with an inner point of star 8 close to Liberty's cap. On the reverse; die cracks connect the lowest olive leaf to the dentils below. This fabulous proof-like example displays perfect striking characteristics on the obverse and only a hint of weakness on the eagle's claw on the reverse. The subtle champagne color adds a glow to nicely reflective fields. Very few early Capped Bust quarters display this level of eye appeal; as they typically possess heavy toning and mediocre luster at best. CAC certified.
